About Filer Events Committee

Hello! Our committee features a group of fun individuals who are committed to supporting our community in various ways. We provide support to our city's events. The Christmas Parade, tree lighting, and the Easter Egg hunt are some examples. We put on Filer's Trunk or Treat, and the Beans, Bingo, and Brew fundraiser, but we are best known for our main event of the year, Filer Fun Days.

This annual event features a parade, veterans tribute, live entertainment, a pancake breakfast, fun run, car show, Community Yard Sale, Fish Fry, and a dazzling firework show at the end. The event is held at the Twin Falls Fairgrounds and on Main St in Filer, Idaho.

Throughout the year, and during the events we organize fundraisers, such as Silent Auctions, Raffle Baskets, a chicken drop, 50/50 Raffle, and Hot Dog and Soda Sales. These fundraising endeavors are crucial to sustaining these cherished community gatherings.

We are also always open and welcoming to those interested in joining our committee and volunteering at our events. Our committee meets on the second Monday of every month at 6:00 pm at the Filer Senior Haven building, 222 Main St in Filer, Idaho. Click here to contact us about upcoming volunteer opportunities.
